Uganda Cranes U23 Assistant Coach, former URA FC legend & Club Captain Massa Simoen takes charge of the tax collectors on an interim basis.
Massa will be in charge of preparing the team ahead of the CAF Confederations Cup that begins next month.
Massa as a player spent an incredible 6 years at the club. Since his arrival at URA FC he has been a fans favourite due to his hard work and professionalism.
Massa’s work ethic and leadership saw him holding the captain’s armband for 4 good years in which URAFC won its last silverware in 2014.
Sam Ssimbwa who has been in charge for the past three seasons left the club after his contract expired on 30th June 2021.
The club is in the process of recruiting a head coach and this will be announced in due course.
