With the second round of the 2020/2021 SUPL season commencing this week, alot of engagements are before the team. This article will provide a direction on our activities for the next four days.

 THURSDAYS

Thursday as has been for the past three weeks will play host to the fourth episode of the URA FC Plug Show that will be streamed live on the URA FC YouTube channel.
The show that only made its debut on mainstream airwaves on 11/3/2021 has since gained traction and an ardent following from our fans. It is however important to mention that the Plug show only airs on Thursdays from 3-4 pm.

The inaugural edition was done this month and helped shape the narrative about our competition (this particular season) for the fans through scintillating conversations. The principal role of the show as highlighted by our head of communications is to update our fans on everything happening at the club.

The most recent edition (third episode) saw us entertain team captain Shafik Kagimu and league top scorer Steven Mukwala as guests. These gave us an interesting show that many of our fans enjoyed watching. It was entertaining listening to their perspective on matters concerning the club.
The fourth edition will focus mainly on previewing the second round of fixtures from a URA FC perspective, preparations for the game against Express FC at Muteesa II Wankulukuku stadium, and our Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup tie against Mbarara City.

 FRIDAY

Friday will be our last training in preparation for our game away to Express FC. The game will be our first showing in the second round with the league resumption already underway.
It is imperative to remember that Express FC is the only team to hand URA FC a defeat this season and as if that’s not enough, this defeat came at home at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.
The gaffer and his technical staff will be hoping for marvelous impetus this time round. They will surely hope that the team maintains their outrageous form that saw us finish the first round top of the table.
On the same day, the gaffer will talk to our media team for his pre-match press conference and an exclusive interview with the media team. All the interviews done by our media team will be shared on our respective social media platforms.
There will also be a launch of the “WearItForURAFC” campaign. A campaign for URAFC fans to wear jerseys to rally behind the boys.

 SATURDAY

Saturday will definitely be the big day for the game at Wankulukuku Stadium. URA FC will travel in hope of an authority stamping result.
