The second round of this season’s league campaign kicks off in less than a fortnight and already, the tax collectors are well vast with how the fixture looks like. There’re however no prizes for guessing our first outing.

It is fair to say that our involvements in the month of April won’t present itself as a rollercoaster but rather, a tough road to navigate as Sam Ssimbwa and his army quest for supremacy.

The first game of the second round will see us visit the Betway Muteesa II Wankulukuku Stadium for a showdown with Express FC. These have themselves been impressive this season and currently sit third on the table.

The game will be played on Saturday, 3 April 2021. It is however less flamboyant-a-gesture to report that the Red Eagles are the only team to hand URA FC a defeat this season. The tax collectors will look to make amends.

Express FC is the only team URA FC has lost to this season.

Tuesday 13/4/2021 will see us host KCCA FC at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje for what will be just the second game of the round. The tax collectors won the resultant game at Lugogo and will be looking to complete a double against the Kasasiro boys.

The tax collectors will then follow that with a second consecutive home game but this time against BUL FC on Friday 16/4/2021 before visiting SC Villa at the Bombo Military Grounds.

URA FC got the best of the Jogoos in the first round but it is imperative to remember that this might simply pass as one of our toughest games in the first round considering that we had to come back from behind thanks to Saidi Kyeyune’s 92nd winner which easily earned him Man-of-the-Match. The second leg against them will surely be a test of our mentality and resilience. The game will be played on Wednesday 21/4/2021.

A trip to Kavumba Recreational grounds to lock horns with Solitilo Bright Stars (one of the sides to force a draw from us in the first round) will come in handy considering how hard to breakdown a team they are. This will be on Saturday 24/4/2021.

URA FC are unbeaten in all away games this season. Drawing one and winning seven.

URA FC will conclude the month playing host to Mbarara City FC at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje. Mbarara City have for long presented themselves as a hard team to beat.
The month of April will definitely be a defining month to our title credentials this season as highlighted by many fans. Heads held high, we hope for the best.
