URA FC can confirm the acquisition of Derrick Ndahiro’s services on a three-year contract from SC Villa.

The twenty-year-old left-back has been one of the best prospects in the game in his position and was so instrumental for his former side in the previous season.

He started his football career in 2017 with Kamwokya side Riverside Forest Park FC before moving to SC Villa, where he has been since 2018.

He couldn’t hide his excitement at the realization of this switch and had this to say to our media team:

“I am quite happy to be here at URA FC. The club is one of the best in the country and am looking forward to playing at the top level and improving my game while here.”

Derrick Ndahiro is at URA FC for at least 3 years.

When asked about his motivation to make the move, Ndahiro was quick to point out his conviction that the club would take him to the next level but couldn’t shy away from the persuasion from his friends that are already with the club.

The friends that he speaks about are Benjamin Nyakoojo, Ashraf Mandela and team skipper Shafik Kagimu with whom he hopes to create chemistry.

His approach to the idea of competition for positions was as blunt as saying that the former was a necessity for the progress of any player at the top level and that he was not oblivious to that fact.

We as a club would like to welcome this incredible talent in our ranks and wish him the very best during his stay with us.
