URA host Busoga United on Saturday afternoon (14 May) in the final StarTimes Uganda Premier League game at the Arena of Visions this season.
This will be the sixth time Busoga United have visited URA at home, with a lone goal from Moses Sseruyidde giving the tax collectors victory the last time they faced Busoga at home.
Here’s all you need to know about the meeting with Busoga United…
The goalscorer in our last home match against Busoga, Moses Sseruyidde will miss today’s match due to injury. Kigongo Ronald and Alex Akankwasa will also be sidelined because of injury.
Steven Mukwala and Derrick Ndahiro won’t be available as they continue to serve a club suspension until the end of the season.
URA has lost just one of our fourteen League home games at the Arena of Visions this season. Winning eight and drawing five.
Cromwel Rwothomio and Shafik Kagimu have each scored three goals in their last three league games and will be looking to add to their impressive tally.
Busoga comes into the game in a poor run of form, registering one win in their last five games. Losing three and drawing one.
The Jinja-based team sits in the 13th place on 29 points while the tax collectors are still sitting 3rd with 52 points.
In the reverse fixture back in February, URA ran out 3-1 winners at the Kakindu Stadium in Jinja with Mukwala scoring a brace before Ivan Sserubiri converted a wonderful free-kick to complete a 3-1 win over Busoga.
The sides have played each other only 10 times in their history, and the tax collectors have been victors on four occasions four times.
After today’s game, the tax collector will travel to Fort Portal to play Tooro United in the final game of the season on Saturday 21 May 2022.
