URA’s first away game of the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League season takes us to Wakiso to face Wakiso Giants on Tuesday 3 September.

The tax collectors are hoping to build on that resounding 3-0 win against Maroons FC last week and make it two wins from two, against Wakiso Giants.

Kefa Kisala’s men proved tough opponents for the tax collectors in our previous outings, so we will need to be at our best to emerge from Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium with all three points.

WHAT’S THE LATEST TEAM NEWS?

Majwega Brian is still out with a knee injury and will miss tomorrows game. Cromwel Rwothomio is also an absentee, after picking up a knee injury in our opening game of the season against Maroons FC. Ojera Joackiam and Dada Ibrahim Juma, who missed our first game of the season are all expected to return to the team for tomorrows match in Wakiso.

WHAT’S OUR RECORD LIKE AGAINST WAKISO GIANTS?

URA FC and Wakiso Giants are meeting for the first time in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League. Our first encounter with the Wakiso based club, came this preseason in a friendly match where Cromwel’s goal made the difference in a 1-0 win for URA. The second encounter with the purple sharks was in the Pilsner Super 8 tournament classification match at Wakisha Resource Centre. Saidi Kyeyune and Majwega Brian found the net for URA FC before Ndugwa Karim and Viane Ssekajugos’ goals cancelled them out. URA FC netted 4-2 in the penalty shoot outs to emerge victors.
